- Formally established in 1996, Keller Williams® University is a tangible extension of the company’s ongoing commitment to learning and growth. Since its founding in 1983, Keller Williams® Realty has strived to offer its Associates and Brokers the finest career and business training available. Its educational programs have been focused on increasing the personal productivity, sales skills and career development of its people.
The most fundamental and time-tested principles of business, marketing and customer service have been blended with the latest in effective educational methods. For this reason, among others, the Keller Williams® System has rapidly expanded across the U.S. and Canada to become one of the fastest growing international real estate companies.
Keller Williams® University has several parts to its curriculum. New Agent Training is provided in the local Market Centers by experienced Team Leaders and Trainers. The Keller Williams® Fast Track to Production Course uses a fundamental course outline that is then tailored to each local area. Each local Team Leader then uses the KW® Success Series to provide on-going consulting for all Associates. Originally developed by Tom Colwell, KW® Regional Owner, in Colorado, this results-oriented, accountability program has been implemented across the Keller Williams® System.

KWU History
Keller Williams® University, was developed by Gary Keller and Dave Jenks as "the action plan for a learning-based company." They initially developed the KWU curriculum in 1997 and were personally responsible for delivery of each and every course on the local level in Austin, Texas.
In 1998, KWU was expanded and "taken on the road." The curriculum that was developed was now being taught around the country by Dave and Gary. As new courses were developed and new Market Centers opened around the country, it became apparent that two people could not provide all of the training the company would need. Therefore, in 1999 the KWU Faculty was launched with 12 of the most talented candidates within Keller Williams® Realty including Canadian Regional Owner, Ron Kubek.
