MIAMI FASHION WEEK 2010 - WYNWOOD ART DISTRICT - visit www. miamifashionweek.com
The 12th annual Miami International Fashion Week hits the runway at the Shops at Midtown in the Wynwood Art District. The entire area will be transformed into an ultra-modern Fashion City of sorts. The largest international fashion event in the country will host designers, models, entertainers, and celebrities from all over the world who come to display their creations and talents. Entries from Australia, Belgium, Canada, India, Italy, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Eastern Europe and Afghanistan are expected, adding excitement to the four days of events.
Rounding out the week are the Miami Moda and Music Awards, an entertainment show combining fashion and music.
Meanwhile, at the International Culinary Arts Pavilion, celebrity chefs will take turns displaying their culinary skills for guests, basing their creations on the traditional foods of the country of the designer whose designs are being displayed that day.

The new state-of-the-art, 14,864 square foot Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, which is being managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, will provide a wide range of performing arts and cultural programming for patrons of all ages. Scheduled to open in June 2010 with a grand opening in late October -- featuring a public open house "Curtain Up", a showcase of local arts organizations -- the AACC will host theater presentations, opera and classical music programs, comedy, concerts, dance performances and more, and a Summer Drama Camp is already scheduled for June 28th - August 20th, 2010.
